Mrs. Kristina G. Vandiver, age 56 of 45 East Second Avenue, Colbert, Ga.,wife of Bob Vandiver went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 20, 1962. She is the daughter of the late Lyle S. and Bobbie Gudmestad. She attended Seminole High School, St. Petersburg College and received a BSN and RN from The University of South Alabama. She worked as a Pediatric RN for 33+ years with 21 years at All Childrens Hospital in St. Petersburg Florida. She really loved children and the beach. She also enjoyed learning about rural life in Georgia and loved all animals including her 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ducks and chickens.

Kristina is survived by her husband Bob Vandiver of 3 years, son; Christopher Girvin, brother; Del (Nancy) Gudmestad of Pennsylvania, niece Wendy, and cousin; Kevin (Judy) Gudmestad of Murryville, Ga., and her many friends at Colbert Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial service celebrating the life of Kristina will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at two o'clock in the afternoon at The First Baptist Church, 65 S 5th St, Colbert, Georgia. Pastor Brad Wilson will officiate. She chose cremation and will rest by her mom and dad at Bay Pines. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Georgia Transplant Foundation in her name., 2201 Macy Drive, Roswell, Ga. 30076.
